Lester Family Reunion 2009 at Providence UMC

The Lester Family Reunion was held at the Providence UMC picnic pavilion again this year. They also graciously invited Joanne and me to join them for lunch. To say that the food was good would be a gross understatement. Joanne and I had to go to a District function that evening where there would be a meal. Neither of us had any doubt where the better food was showing up, so we took full advantage of the Lester Family's bountiful generosity.

If you look at the first picture and see that red looking plate at the end of the table , that was the delicious by-product of Ann Adam's adventure in the cherry tree that was in the previous blog.

It was a great time of seeing family and friends again. You could tell everyone was having a good time.
We couldn't have asked for a better day. It was sunny and warm, not too hot. The new ceiling fans in the pavilion gave us just the right amount of breeze. It was one of those nice days to be in the country.
Carl Wayne and Doris Adams say, "See y'all next year!"
